    Here Are The Top On-Page SEO Ranking Factors In 2022

    Page ranking factors are used to calculate the potential of your website. The on-Page ranking factor for SEO is the process of optimizing every piece of content in your website. The process includes factors like optimizing the tags, sources code, etc. so that the website can show on the first index of the webpage.

    Here is a list of factors that are used to determine the on-Page ranking factor for SEO in 2022

    Content is King:

    The content can be referred to as the backbone of the website, it makes the website worthy and can increase the SEO(SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION) and SERP(SEARCH ENGINE RESULT PAGE). This is the thing that attracts the organic reach and is one of the gigantic On-page SEO techniques. So to increase SEO you need to develop original and relevant content. There are many factors that a person should keep in mind while writing the content such as keyword research and the use of proper keywords. The content is considered can achieve its goal when-

    • It shows a good SEO score, is not plagiarized, and is grammatically correct.
    • Engages the reader/user.
    • Is capable of receiving backlinks from your other sites.

    Using the keyword effectively:

    The keyword is the most common phrase or word that is used by the user while looking for content. Using the right keyword is much necessary in order to optimize the website. While writing content you should try to load your keyword in the first 100 words of your blog. The reason is that while ranking the pages, a search engine like Google uses an algorithm to detect the most relative content and if your keyword matches the phrase of the user then the ranking will surely increase. The main purpose of writing in the first 100 is to stop the users from bouncing back because without looking for the keyword they might not read further and leave immediately. Additionally, suppose you are searching the content with the keyword “healthy diet” and the content doesn’t involve that phrase in the first couple of paragraphs then the engagement decreases and makes the content irrelevant.

    Using Graphics in your webpages:

    Images, videos, GIFs, animations are the new cool. Thought this might not be a factor suggested by Google, but as per users’ point of view, it is. Using such graphical are used to enhance the user experience. Always make sure to use unique graphics. Using duplicate content can cost you in the long term.

    Mobile-friendliness:

    This is also an important factor that is determined by search engines while ranking the websites. Some old-school websites do not offer a mobile view and the user has to browse the web page in desktop mode, this poses a bad impression on the website and increases the bounce-back rate. If you want to rank up the website then you should consider it as an important factor.

    Installing an SSL(SECURE SOCKET LAYER) or HTTPS:

    SSL layer is used to create a safe connection between the web server and the browser. SSL certificates are used to keep them secure and private. HTTPS connection is used to show that the website is secure from hackers and no phishing scam can be performed. Now, in terms of SEO, SSL is much required to show authenticity. For example, why would anyone share his/her details with a website that has verified them?

    Internal linking:

    It helps the search engine to understand the connectivity of web pages on your site. The redirecting/anchor text of these links should be a keyword, make sure not to repeat it again and again otherwise it will be considered as keyword stuffing. Internal linking also helps the user to discover other pages of the website. Unlike Backlinks, they do not increase the authenticity of the website; instead, it increases the relevancy of the web pages.

    Page load time:

    Page load time is an important direct ranking factor of SEO and Google has also affirmed that. The loading time of the page also influences the ranking indirectly from the factors like bounce back ratio and waiting time. If your website has a loading time of more than 2 seconds then it can be considered a slow website which can impact the SEO. You have to make your website as fast as it can be without negotiating the user experience. To increase the speed of the webpage these are the actions that you can perform:-

    • Increasing the server speed.
    • Optimizing the source code.
    • Removing unnecessary content.

    Title Tags:

    This tag is shown above the content of your web page in SERP. This tag is used to show the tone of the page. The title tag should be short and as describable as it can be.

    URL:

    Search engines have stated that URLs help them in understanding what the page is all about. So your main motive should be

    • To keep the keywords that match with the query phase.
    • To keep the words describable and real instead of some imaginary self-made words.
    • To keep the words on the left as much as possible.

    Meta Tags:

    These tags are the short description that is shown under the title of the webpage in the SERP. Always try to write a unique content piece of content and try to show the relevance of your text.
